If anyone has attempted this, on a scale of 1-10 how hard is it to disassemble this car and what usually breaks. I am contemplating an interior swap. I give a lot of credit to the workers that assemble these for us. Very intricate and tight spaces to work within.

You should have a spare set of headlights, chances are they will be damaged in the mod.

The Claymon has assisted to modify many GMP GTO's for me with interior swaps.  I know they are not easy and I hope Acme will one day produce more of them with the lighter toned interiors.

I asked him to create the one above after seeing a real one just like it 'For Sale' in my travels.  While I don't know if the real one like it I saw in Germany was OEM, it just looked so sweet I wanted to have one like it in 1/18th scale.  I would have and wanted to buy the real thing, but ... like I said it was in Germany and I didn't have a gunny sack large enough to get it back to the USA.

This one [above] is one of my favorite GMP 1970 GMP GTO Judge Mods that the Claymon worked on for me.  It's just the red exterior and the parchment interior that makes both pop to me.

I've taken dozens of them apart, one just last week. But if you're just swapping interiors you don't need to do a complete disassembly or even remove the headlight buckets or nose piece.

Thanks for the responses. I'll contact Clay for some advice since he has done them before and offered.
Carnutty I really like that black GTO the red interior just pops against that black exterior.
